Summer Camps
Fun Days, Teen and Kinder Camp will be held from 6/23-8/21, basic hours are from 9-4. Extra hours can be added, 8-9AM & 4-5PM for each session. Financial aid applications are available now and are due by April 30. Camp applications will also be available at the end of April and will be distributed to the children in school. Mail-in or walk-in registration will be accepted starting May 4. Scheduled weeks are as follows: 6/23-6/26- 1 wk session 6/20-7/10- 2 wk session (no camp 7/3) 7/13-7/24- 2 wk session

Camp Sunburst
Camp Sunburst is a summer day camp available to children ages 6-21 with special needs. It is held at Hockanum Park next to Hockanum School and those young people who are not able to attend Fun Days camp or Teen Camp can attend Camp Sunburst. July Major League Soccer Camp
Camp will be held Monday through Friday, July 20 – 24 from 9AM -1PM at East Hartford Middle School. This is an exciting and innovative program for boys and girls 5-14 years of age. Based on enrollment levels campers will be divided into age-groups that include 5-9, Recreation and 10-14, Competitive. If weather conditions permit, the camp will be conducted outdoors on the soccer field. The aux. gym will be used in the event of inclement weather. Fee for July camp: $126.00 and includes 5 days of camp (4-hours ea.), a soccer ball & camp T-shirt. Register before: 7/10.

Skyhawks Basketball Camp
Skyhawks basketball programs are designed for beginner and intermediate players. Boys and girls ages 8-14 are eligible for this camp. Players will learn new skills while building upon the fundamentals. They will refine their passing, shooting and dribbling skills. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 10:1. Mini-Hawk Soccer, Baseball & Basketball Sports Camp
The Skyhawks Mini-Hawk program for girls and boys ages 4-7. The camp helps young children explore sports in a day-program setting. There is no pressure, just lots of fun, while these young athletes participate in unique Skyhawks games. The staff is trained to meet the needs of young children. Skyhawks Tennis Camp
Skyhawks Tennis for boys and girls ages 7-14 provides the beginning skills needed in this lifelong sport. Participants learn proper techniques for grip, footwork, ground strokes, volleys, overheads and serving. Participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. The camp will meet at the EHHS Joseph Negri Tennis Complex from 9AM-12PM, July 6-10. (Activity #: 72401-4). Fee: $105.00 .
US SPORTS INSTITUTE MULTI SPORTS CAMP
The US Sports Institute is at the forefront of providing summer day camps in American communities. We enable each camper to grow in an atmosphere that promotes integrity, self-esteem, positive values and good sportsmanship. We are dedicated to delivering quality outdoor programs, where your child will not only have great fun but also learn that “character really counts!”
A sampling of the sports that will be offered include athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, bocce, cricket, net ball, field hockey, flag football, lacrosse, hand ball, floor hockey, Discovery Games, Olympic Games, parachute, pillo polo, soccer, softball, tennis, touch rugby, volleyball and World Cup.
Half Day Camp (ages 5-7)
This camp gives our younger participants the opportunity to experience over 10 sports in a week. Campers will receive technical instruction in each sport and will then experience the sport in a realistic game situation. All campers will participate in the USSI Olympic Games and World Cup. Full Day Camp (ages 7-14)
This camp offers participants the chance to experience many additional sports and daily sports challenges in addition to the entrie sports line up of the half day camp.
