Canine Disc Championships
For the 15th year, dogs will be taking to the skies when the Parks & Rec. Dept hosts the 2009 Skyhoundz Canine Disc Championships, the premier athletic competition for dogs. The competition will attract the most entertaining four-legged athletes in the area. The event will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 6:00PM, East Hartford High School, 869 Forbes Street. It is open to all veteran and novice dogs that can catch a flying disc. Registration is on site. It is not necessary to have competed previously to have a qualifying score. There is no entry fee for competitors and no admission charge for spectators.
