Teen After School Sports
For East Hartford Middle School, St. Christopher, St. Rose & 2 Rivers Magnet School 7th & 8th grade students. Activities will be held at EHMS from 3-4:30 P.M. Students must pre-register for each sport event through the Teen Action Group at EHMS or at the Parks & Rec. Dept. office. There are no fees for the sports programs. Students are required to pre-arrange their own transportation from the school after the events conclude.

Teen Dances
A series of six dances for 7th & 8th graders who attend East Hartford Middle School, St. Christopher School, St. Rose School and 2 Rivers Magnet School will be held during the 2008-2009 school year at the East Hartford Middle School cafeteria. The dances will feature the sights and sounds of Johnny Rozz Sound Spectrum.
Purchasing Tickets and Town ID Policy
Students may purchase tickets for individual dances in advance in the Parks & Recreation office for $7.00. Tickets sold in Parks and Recreation office on Friday the day of a dance cost $10 each. A limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door the evening of each dance for $10.00. Students must present their valid Town I.D. or EH Middle School I.D. card to purchase tickets and to enter each dance. Parents may purchase tickets for their children provided they have their child’s valid Town ID or EH Middle School I.D. Advance ticket sales will take place at the East Hartford Parks and Recreation office the week of each dance from 8:30 A.M.- 4:30 P.M. on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and from 8:30 A.M. – 7:30 P.M. on
Thursday. Tickets cannot be transferred or resold. Replacement for lost full and half season ticket is $10.00.
Entry and Early Leave Policies
Students will enter and exit through the auditorium entrance in the front of the school. Students must make advance arrangements for transportation from each dance by 9:00 PM. There is no access to a public telephone on the school premises. Once students exit a dance, they will not be allowed to re-enter. Students who leave early must sign out.
