For Information Regarding the Homicide of Laura Lee

Murdered on or around January 17, 1997
The East Hartford Police are seeking information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who murdered Laura Lee, date of birth 1/9/61, at her first floor, 430 Burnside Ave. apartment, in January of 1997.
Laura had recently returned to the area from California. The crime scene suggests that the perpetrator was a guest of the victim or that he caught her by surprise. Evidence indicates there may have been a brief struggle. Investigation revealed that the death occurred approximately 36 hours prior to police notification and that several people were aware of the death.
A $15,000 reward is being offered by Family and Friends, The State of CT is offing a $30,000 reward. Payment will be made to the person(s) who provide information that will directly lead to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for her death.
