East Hartford Police Department Announces Graduation of Fifth Citizen Police Academy Session

Chief Mark J. Sirois and the East Hartford Police Department announced the graduation of the fifth East Hartford Citizen Police Academy session, which was held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at 6:30 PM, in the Police Training Room at the Public Safety Complex.
The Citizen Police Academy was held from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM every Wednesday from September 2 through December 2, 2009. Topics covered during the academy session included the history of the police department, police employment and training, legal standards, patrol and special unit operations, criminal investigations, evidentiary services, use of force, police and the public, and proactive policing efforts.
Graduating members of the third session were Elisa Amaro, James Amaro, Margaret Annitto, Peter J. Beley Jr., Mary Ann Bezzini, Eusebia Castro, Olga Cooper, Evelyn Cruz, Cecelia Jones, Robin Lane, Efrain Lopez, Alma Mattice, Robert McKenna, Edward Molans, Nancy Raye, Frank K. Roberts Jr., Susan Tukey, Nancy Wheeler, and Tia Woods.
