News Release Traffic Advisory
17th Annual Brian Aselton Snow Dash Road Race Road Closure Information for 01/10/2010
This is a traffic advisory for all East Hartford residents and motorist planning on using Long Hill Street area on Sunday, January 10th, 2010 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM. There will be a three mile road race starting at 1:30 PM at the Langford School 61 Alps Drive with approximately 300 runners. There will be police officers working this special detail along with personnel from the Park & Recreation Department. The following streets will be temporarily affected with road closures:
Long Hill Street (between Burnham and Goodwin Street), Leverich Drive, Alps Drive, Yale Drive, Goodwin Street (between Long Hill Street and University Ave), Prestige Park Road, University Ave, Colby Drive, Bath Path Drive, Andover Drive, Syracuse Drive and Purdue Lane.
