The Honor Guard is a dedicated group comprised of seven officers who have the distinction of representing the department at numerous state ceremonies and public functions throughout the year as well as funerals for department members.
The Honor Guard presents a highly polished, professional image. The unit serves an important function that commands respect from fellow departments and from the community as a whole.
The Police Department Honor Guard proudly displays weaponry and flags, along with being trained to march in formation.
