A Special Meeting of the EAST HARTFORD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY was held in the Second Floor Conference Room, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on May 19, 2010.
- The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m.

- BURNSIDE AVENUE REDEVELOPMENT
- 482 – 484 Burnside Avenue – Certificate of Completion
- Ms. Webb presented the Corporation Counsel approved version of the certificate to be recorded on the town’s land records.
MOTION by Mr. Maine, seconded by Mr. Ryan to authorize Chairperson Pearson to sign the certificate on behalf of the East Hartford Redevelopment Agency.

- Ms. Webb suggested possible changes to the RFP that was presented at a previous meeting and a brief discussion was had regarding same.
- Ms. Webb will send Commissioners the final draft by the end of the week for their review and approval.
- 590 Burnside – Progress Report
- HUD has indicated that funds for the Section 202 Program should be announced by June 30, 2010.
- Ms. McCreery asked about the merger between St. Christopher School and St. Rose School and if this will have an impact on the parcel of land owned by the Redevelopment Agency located at 673 Burnside Avenue, adjacent to St. Rose. Ms. Webb will follow up on this.
- Housing for Economic Growth Project
- Ms. Webb has directed the consultants to draft the incentive housing zoning regulations.
- Main Street Improvement Project
- Ms. Webb reported on the successful Main Street Clean-up held on May 15, 2010.
- Ms. Webb, in conjunction with CEDF, is looking into bringing a CT Store to East Hartford, showcasing state-made goods.
- Ms. Webb will be meeting with artists living at the Cultural Center to discuss their view of Main Street and the possibility of marketing East Hartford.
